Why the Code Enforcement Board is broken

When it was enacted in 2000, City Ordinance 179 provided for a Code Enforcement Board consisting of "five (seven)" members. It is clear that a City Code Enforcement Board could have either five or seven members, or even as few as three members, but it is impossible to have a Board with five and seven members.

The solution to this problem is to amend Ordinance 179 and to be very definite about the number of members on the Code Enforcement Board. 3, 5 or 7. Take your pick.
